This is my first attempt at creating a GIF for my project. In order to make this successful I made sure that the tripod I was using was very sturdy and had no ability to move around. I also made sure that in the frame there wasn't any drastic movement other than the subject I was photographing. in this instance it was the water. the problem I had was that I originally had a wider focal length which also captured the top of the bridge. this meant that my photos captured people walking across which would replay constantly if I had made it into a GIF. therefore to overcome the obstacle I cropped my frame to 70mm and this was the preferred result.
This particular set of photographs was shot at a shutter speed of 1/1250 so that I could capture the detailed drops of water as it fell into the lower part of the river. to experiment further with this i will take produce a contrasting GIF where i use a slow shutter speed of "1 or "2 so it creates a cloudy silk look with the water.
Another thing that I feel have worked well with this GIF is that the lighting the bounces off the water stands out and creates a nice reflection of oranges and light blues.
