Why do i want to include this in my project?

For my final major project I wanted to include a second median for the project. I have already produced and talked about lots of digital photographs and wanted to experiment with a GIF.

What is a GIF?

A GIF or a Graphical interchange format is where a number of frames our presented in a certain order to convey an animation. GIF's usually have a eternal loop. and are stitched together in a clever way so that you cannot identify the start or finish of the animation.

How will this link into my theme of distortion?

in order to show a similarity between the work I have already done and the GIFs that I want to create. I will link the GIFs to the photographers Laura Williams and Jerry Uelsmann so that the outcome of my work on GIFs will be related to my previous research and images.

Where do I start?

To start these GIF experimentation's I will begin by creating a simple animation. To then developing onto a photographer based GIF to then hopefully having the knowledge to produce some high quality pictorial loops.
